Dickson Lewis are currently looking for a Payroll Administrator to work within a dynamic payroll team based in Edinburgh. The payroll team is responsible for large volume clients who have from one employee to hundreds with varying pay frequencies. You will be responsible for your own portfolio, processing the payroll from start to finish.

The main duties of the role include:

Preparation of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls, including Real Time Information responsibilities. 

Developing and maintaining client contact and relationships. 

Assisting with business development projects and opportunities. 

Integration of Pension Auto-enrolment into the payroll process. 

Assist with review and development of internal procedures.

Liaison and communication with Managers and other departments.

Requirements:

Ideally at least two years’ payroll experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Willingness to take responsibility and suggest solutions to problems encountered.

Demonstrate a high level of initiative and self-motivation. 

Ability to work under pressure meeting strict deadlines 

Organised with strong time management skills 

Strong Excel skills 

Knowledge of Sage payroll would be advantageous
